I really wrecked my brain with this one. For some reason I had trouble figuring out exactly what my favourites were. So here goes...
Movie Genre: It just has to be science fiction.
Music Genre: Definitely rock.
Books: This one was really difficult, but I will have to go with romance and thriller.
My guilty pleasure genre would be Music: I also tend to like folk music.
So there are my choices.
Before Serenity and Battlestar Galactica, I was never much of a Sci-fi fan but, I'm coming around to it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love folk music too.
It was hard for me to pick favorites for movies because I enjoy many types.
ReplyDeleteBooks and music was an easy choice though because all I have to do is look at the types of books I mostly read. And the radio station.
It's rock for me too!
ReplyDeleteI never thought I liked science fiction, but I love a lot of the examples I've been reading on these blogs.
M.J. - I agree! Serenity totally converted me. Folk music rocks!
ReplyDeleteSuzi - I had a tough time too. I feel kind of guilty for picking just one genre. Thank you so much for stopping by.
Annalisa - I completely agree. I never thought I was crazy about science fiction until I had to look at my dvd cabinet.
Folk music. I think you are the first person I've visited who has mentioned that genre. Nice!
ReplyDeleteCan't go wrong with science fiction and rock!
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in my blogfest.
folk music is sometimes so relaxing... being simplistic some of the time...
ReplyDeleteahhhh, hear it now.

Folk music is one of my favorite genres for sure.

We have a lot of similarities! I do love folk music as well :)
ReplyDeleteI believe I cut my teeth on old Star Trek episodes with William Shatner as Captain Kirk. Of course, there were the Sci-Fi movies on TV and even the old series like Flash Gordon. Modern Sci-Fi has an advantage what with special effects, but sometimes a disadvantage as when a story is buried because of the special effects.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, just followed your blog. Cheers!
This was a really tough question. Forced us all to dip deep!
ReplyDeleteGreat list.
Thanks for sharing.
Heather
Picking just one is hard. I cheated a little and gave my runner up genre as well.
ReplyDeleteI also chose suspense/thriller for my book choice!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Murees,
ReplyDeleteDropped by for the blogfest. Nice to meet you.
Well you and almost everyone else have picked sci/fi for their favorite movies. You'd be glad to know you are in EXCELLENT company.
Thrillers are great though. I do enjoy them even though I didn't list it as my favorites. I have very varied tastes.
Have a great week..
Sherri - Thanks! It is just soothing to me.
ReplyDeleteAlex - My pleasure. It has been a lot of fun.
Jeremy - I agree, it is just the best thing for me when I want to just relax and be calm.
Gina - Awesome!
Sylvia - That is just great to hear. It is nice meeting like minded people.
Jeremy Bates - Thank you so much! I started watching Star Trek with my brother and beleive it or not, he bought himself the series as well.
Heather - Thank you and it is always great to share.
LD Masterson - That is so brillaint! I didn't even think of that.
Michelle - Great minds think alike.
Michael - It is nice to meet you too. I love making new friends. I also like various genre's which made this blogfest especially tough for me.
I enjoy thrillers too! And though I don't normally enjoy sci-fi, I've been really getting into an old British sci-fi comedy series called Red Dwarf.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like romance. Thanks for visiting my blog!
