THOUGHTS ON A RAINY DAY

It was a rainy day today and the whole time while I was at work, I was thinking about how great it would be to be at home, snuggling under the covers with a big mug of hot chocolate and a nice book. I am suddenly feeling all warm and fuzzy.

I have recently started reading the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich. My sister has been trying to get me to read them for years and I finally tried them. I must admit that they are very good. I read book one in just a few hours. Now I am happily moving on to book two.

What are you reading?

  1. I love a good rainy day! It has been hot and sunny here. I'm reading "Code Name Verity" by Elizabeth Wein. I'm hoping to finish it today. I'm also reading "Looking for Alaska"by John Greene. I can't seem to stick to one book at a time...

  5. Sarah - I sometimes read two books at a time as well. I will have to give these books a try.

Annalisa - I am not sure what it is, but there is something soothing about the sound of raining falling. I feel like I am purring on the inside or something quite similar, when I hear it.

Beth - Sorry you feel that way. To each his own I guess.

Jai - I have heard from a friend that the books are very good. I have yet to read them myself.

Feel free to leave comments. I love comments. But no spam, or hate speech. Your comments will be deleted, and I'd wish you a painful death, and your soul to turn to nothingness.

What is the point?

Today I was plagued with the idea, why? And why?  Everywhere these days there's a silent rule imposed by some invisible person or person...
