New Writing Desk

This post is a bit late. But I wanted to share my Christmas/ Birthday gift from my brother and his wife.

This is my new writing desk, and what I like is that there is space for me to place my laptop and my notes. I don't know about you, but I never seem to have enough space when I'm writing. It helps that there are two small shelves for storage.

So dear friends. What is your writing space like, and do you always lack space when actually writing?

  1. That's a nice little desk!
I bought a medium sized corner one years ago and still love it.

  3. That is gorgeous! What a great gift for a writer.

I have my grandmother's desk, but I rarely use it. I mostly sit on the couch with my laptop. I would get more done at the desk and should make it my habit.

    1. It is a great gift. I understand, I work from the couch a lot these days too. But I do get a ton done when I work at the desk.

  4. Hi Murees - that looks lovely and what a thoughtful present for you. I actually bought a desk back from South Africa - which seemed to be quite big and have shelves ... but since I moved here I've got another one, whose arrangement suits me better. Yes - we all need extra space don't we! Cheers Hilary

  5. That's an excellent writing desk! I sit in a theater seat with my laptop on a tray. All my office supplies are on shelves right next to me.

    Love,

    1. Thank you. That sounds brilliant too. As long as everything is within reach😁 I'm too lazy to get up every time.

What is the point?

Today I was plagued with the idea, why? And why?  Everywhere these days there's a silent rule imposed by some invisible person or person...
